In this week's Claire Chats I share details on a new book I've just received in the post and look at some of the Tudor-linked history books that have just been released or are due out soon. Quite a few of these are going on my Christmas list!
Talking of books, Tudor Society member LynMarie has a 1996 paperback edition of Diarmaid MacCulloch's biography of Thomas Cranmer. It's in mint, as new, condition and the only reason she's parting with it is because she has the 2007 edition. It's free to a good home. If you're interested then leave a comment below and I'll put you in touch with her - first come, first served. It's an excellent book.
Books mentioned (covers may be different in different countries):
Hello, I’m interested in the book. Please let me know. Thank you!

Hi Michelle,
Delighted. I have emailed you today.

Claire, I love the idea of a book swap!
Thanks for all these marvelous suggestions.
I’ve just opened a category on the forum for members to list books to sell or giveaway – see https://www.tudorsociety.com/forum/
I’m really looking forward to the Lettice one, but also kind of nervous since I’m pretty attached to the Knollys family!
Yes, I’m the same, I’m very attached to the Knollys and the Dudley families.
