Historian Leanda de Lisle will be speaking for the Tudor Society in the New Year, but if you can't wait until then you can catch her at these two events in the UK:
- 8 November - St Albans Literary Festival, 7.30pm The Cathedral and Abbey Church of Saint Alban. Join BBC news presenter Martine Croxall as she presents best selling authors Leanda de Lisle and Conn Iggulden in the beautiful and historic Lady Chapel of St Albans Cathedral for a night exploring The Tudors. The Lady Chapel, used during the Tudor period is the perfect location to explore the period and we aim to help you step back in time. There will also be live music, courtesy of local folk trio Said The Maiden. See www.stalbansliteraryfestival.co.uk/content/evening-tudor-literature
- 10 December - Richard III, Henry VII and the Princes in the Tower, Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park, Leicestershire. See https://www.facebook.com/events/1447858192148624/?ref=5
The one in the St. Albans sounds wonderful…a real feast for the eyes and ears. Sadly I live to far away, it is such a shame they don’t film events like this for TV. instead of most of the rubbish they put on!! But I am looking forward to her chat on here very much.
