I've just read in an article on The Telegraph website - see http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/theroyalfamily/11365173/How-to-make-your-own-Wolf-Hall-garden-Henry-VIIIs-horticultural-manual-revealed.html - that Henry VIII's "personal copy of the world’s first gardening manual" is to go on display at Buckingham Palace in March.

The Ruralia Commoda is a 14th century book written by Petrus de Crescentiis, a lawyer from Bologna, and it is going to be on display as part of the exhibition Painting Paradise: The Art of the Garden in the Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace, from Friday, 20 March 2015 to Sunday, 11 October 2015. You can find out more about the exhibition at http://www.royalcollection.org.uk/exhibitions/painting-paradise-the-art-of-the-garden-bp.
