Loved the quiz. Nothing makes ya smile like being told you are a Tudor Expert. 🙂

Enjoyed this. I am a Tudor know it all! That’s what my husband calls me too. A know it all. He leaves out the Tudor part. 😉
Well done! I had great fun devising this quiz and will definitely do them regularly.

So close! I didn’t remember the year she was imprisoned by Mary…And I wrote of it in my novel! Haha. Guess all my research slipped out in my sleep!
Thanks to your welcome video, I scored 11/12! I didn’t know about the phoenix emblem before the video. Was this chosen because of her uncertain path (putting it mildly) to the throne?
Congratulations, that’s a great score.
The phoenix was used to symbolize sacrifice and rebirth, and the way that it rises from the ashes could speak of Elizabeth’s rise to power. The phoenix is also a symbol of Christ’s Resurrection and the promise of eternal life, and as only one phoenix lives at one time it may be a symbol of Elizabeth’s uniqueness. Another meaning of the phoenix is chastity, so it is another allusion to the Queen’s purity and virginity.
Had to dig about in the grey matter for some of them, lol….more quizzes please, wakes my brain up!
